Endometriosis can be a difficult condition for many women, often resulting in heavy menstrual bleeding. That occurs when uterine lining tissue grows outside the uterus, most commonly on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and surrounding organs. The misplaced endometrial cells react as if they were inside the uterus, growing each month in response to hor
